Ceridwen

Ceridwen is a powerful and complex figure in Welsh mythology. Her name is believed to have derived from the Celtic word "cerdd" meaning "poetry" or "song. " She is often associated with the harvest and fertility, and is sometimes portrayed as a goddess of rebirth and transformation. In some versions of the myth, Ceridwen is described as a beautiful and wise woman, usually depicted as a sorceress or enchantress. She is often depicted as having powers of shape-shifting and knowledge of herbal remedies and magic. The most well-known story involving Ceridwen is the tale of her son, Taliesin. According to legend, Ceridwen had two children - a beautiful daughter named Creirwy and an ugly son named Morfran (also known as Afagddu or "Utter Darkness").
