Description

Kesaxun Lokaparo Setu is a traditional festival celebrated by the indigenous people of Arunachal Pradesh in India. It is also known as the Harvest Festival and is a significant event in the cultural calendar of the state.
The festival is observed in the month of November, after the harvest season is over. It is a time to give thanks to the gods and ancestors for a bountiful harvest, and to pray for the well-being and prosperity of the community. The word "kesaxun" means "togetherness" and "lokapaaro" refers to the traditional bamboo and cane bridges that are built during this festival.
The festival is celebrated for 3-5 days and is marked by various rituals, ceremonies, and cultural activities. The preparations for the festival begin days in advance, with people decorating their houses and surroundings with colorful flowers, flags, and traditional motifs.
